Our Team
Will Colley
Will Colley is a seasoned real estate and finance entrepreneur with more than 30 years of industry experience. As Managing Partner of Polara Capital, he leads capital relationships and oversees the firm’s commercial real estate equity investments. He is also a principal of Red Door Revivals, an award-winning commercial contractor and developer.
Prior to Polara Capital, Will served as Executive Vice President at Coldwell Banker Commercial Metro Brokers, where he led the firm’s Bank Asset Team. Earlier in his career, he founded ERA United Realty and was recognized nationally by RISMedia as a Top 500 Power Broker. He also worked as a commercial real estate lender for Wachovia Bank.
Will earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University. He currently serves on the University of Georgia Terry College of Business Emeritus Alumni Board and several local community boards.
John Stanforth
John Stanforth is a Principal at Polara Capital, where he oversees investor relations, operations, and equity investments.
John brings a distinguished background in mortgage banking and structured finance. He is the founder and former CEO of NCS Mortgage Services and co-founder of Block Mortgage Corporation, an H&R Block company. He also served as Director of Companion Servicing, a $4 billion servicing platform managing both agency and non-conforming securitized loan portfolios. Over the course of his career, John has structured and issued more than $10 billion in mortgage-backed securities.
John began his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and KPMG. He earned his degree from University of Mount Union and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), formerly licensed in Ohio and Georgia.
